Bob Riddle earned a triple major degree from the University of Mobile with an emphasis in theology, has an earned M Div degree from Southwestern Seminary (Fort Worth , Texas), and earned his PhD in the Theology of Leadership.
He is a licensed pilot with over 7,200 hours of flight time, and holds a U.S. Coast Guard Captain's license, with over 4,500 offshore miles logged. Bob has worked in the hospitality management and aviation management industries, and has owned an operated a high end home construction business. In addition, Bob is a well-known author, speaker and college professor. Bob served 8½ years of a 10-year sentence as an inmate in the Florida State Prison system and was released in March of 2018.
Bob has written Living On Purpose as a Biblically based, strategic plan/discipleship course for inmates who are within 3-5 years of release, to help them re-acclimate to life on the outside and to reduce recidivism. It includes sections on determining God's will, discovering spiritual gifts, and establishing God-honoring goals , and is divided into three main sections: Analyze, Adjust and Accomplish. It is available in both English and Spanish.
Bob has also written 12 discipleship lessons for inmates or others seeking life-applicable Bible knowledge entitled The TRUTH Series. He is also the author of 22 other books.
Bob lives in Florida with his wife of 50 years. The couple have 2 children and 4 grandchildren.
