Also available through Inmate Ministry Resources are 12 discipleship courses entitled The TRUTH Series. This series, also written by Bob Riddle, is provided to inmates upon request as funds are available to print, bind and ship. (Bindings for ALL materials must be approved by the state Department of Corrections.)

The TRUTH Series – How to Build an Unshakeable Foundation for Your Faith is aptly named due to the frequent teaching in prison settings that bear little resemblance to Biblical, historical Christianity. The book is actually a complete discipleship course for both new and maturing followers of Jesus Christ. Each book / course contains the following components:

• Extensive Teaching Notes for the leader’s personal study in preparation for each lesson topic

• Convenient Teaching Outlines to minimize the amount of material needed at the lectern to lead each lesson.

• Topical Daily Study Guides – designed to lead each student, regardless of spiritual background, through a 5 day, 15-minute-per-day study for the upcoming week’s topic. Students learn to use the Scripture while employing basic Bible study techniques that will last a lifetime.

• Weekly Memory Verse Cards designed to be distributed to each student and related to each week’s study topic.

• Weekly Bridge Illustration Components included to assist each student in learning to share the Gospel in a straightforward and compelling manner.
